About Ryan
Hello, I am Ryan Anderson, a qualified counsellor and therapist. I offer both online sessions and face-to-face appointments in Kings Hill, working with adults from all backgrounds who may be feeling lost, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start. My style is supportive and down-to-earth; I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation where you can talk freely and be yourself.
I specialise in helping people work through stress, burnout, anxiety, grief, and addiction, as well as navigating low confidence and significant life changes. I also regularly work with neurodivergent clients, including those who experience differences in emotional processing, communication, or sensory needs. My approach is structured yet flexible, ensuring sessions are tailored to what you need while moving at a pace that feels manageable for you.
By creating a safe and honest space, I help you make sense of your experiences and find practical ways to feel more in control. Whether we are addressing specific phobias, low mood, or complex emotional patterns, my goal is to provide you with the clarity and tools needed to move forward with confidence.

Background and experience
Prior to my career as a therapist, I spent many years working in education, training, and senior leadership. these roles provided me with a deep professional understanding of workplace stress, confidence issues, and the various pressures of daily life. This background allows me to bring a grounded and practical perspective to my clinical work.
I have over a decade of experience in private practice and have spent more than ten years taking NHS referrals. Having experienced therapy myself, I understand the courage it takes to seek support. I am committed to maintaining high professional standards through continuous training and professional development to ensure my clients receive the most effective, evidence-based care.
